GroundControl Caster – A Mixing Board for Streamers & Podcasters
Earlier this year, we wrote about Ginger Audio’s release of “GroundControl”, a streamlined, virtual audio driver for Mac OS.
Ginger Audio have announced the release of GroundControl Caster, a virtual mixing board tailored for streamers & podcasters.
GroundControl Caster makes it incredibly easy to mix your audio inputs from various applications and hardware input devices, from streaming services like Twitch, to DAW software such as Logic or Ableton.
Click here to check it out.
The app also allows you to create dedicated virtual audio drivers, process your audio with AU plug-ins, mix the audio and stream.
Inputs
GroundControl Caster supports up to 8 application source inputs. This means you can route audio streams from DAWs, web browsers, zoom calls or your desktop sound all through the Caster app. It also supports up to 3 physical input channels, so you can utilise signals from a microphone or other hardware input devices.
Outputs
The app has 2 output busses, and allows you to choose whether you want to send each input to output A or B (or both). This makes it incredibly simple to control which audio inputs are being sent to your stream at any given time.
Plugins
One feature that makes GroundControl Caster so powerful is its ability to insert plugins on any input or output source. This provides a much more streamlined way to add effects to your audio without having to route the audio through a DAW or a similar program.
This intuitive, powerful app allows you to do everything from stream gameplay, create professional podcasts, and much more, with complete control over the various audio sources.
GroundControl Caster is currently priced at $39 (introductory offer). Ginger Audio are also offering a 7 day free trial of the product.
